Geneva Arts Fair

FEATURES: For 19 years, the juried Geneva Arts Fair has risen in attendance and notoriety. The fine arts show showcases over 155 fine artisans from around the country in a host of mediums. Historic downtown Geneva serves as a picturesque backdrop for the outdoor fine arts show on Third Street in Geneva. **Due to COVID-19, modifications may be made to this festival.

FEATURES: More than 140 artists will show their work – from drawing, painting and sculpture to ceramics, glass, textiles and jewelry. All art is available for sale.

CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Courthouse Parking Lot on 4th Street and James Street
DATES: Thursdays, July and August | 5pm - 7pm
FEATURES: Hosted at the historic Kane County Courthouse, join car collectors as they gather together to show off their rides. The audience comes from near and far to bop to the music of the 50s while they ogle the beauties and vote for their favorite make and model.
Please note: The Chamber will decide by 3 p.m. on the day of the show to cancel the car show in the case of questionable weather conditions. Call the Chamber Office at (630) 232-6060 to check the status.

FEATURES: Join us for an afternoon of old-fashioned fun at our beautiful prairie farmhouse and grounds. Watch as the Durant House docents explain and demonstrate the art of pickling. Examples of the scrumptious undertaking will be presented in both the original 1840s Durant Hearth Room and the Victorian Kitchen added by Godfrey and Christina Peterson in the 1880s. Learn the process of this delicious aspect of history and enjoy an authentic day in the countryside!

FEATURES: Bug Fest is back and bigger than ever! Tickets must be purchased this year to enter Bug Fest where you will be greeted with games, activities, inflatables and more! Visit our participating agencies with their bug-themed activities or stop by one of our investigation stations where you can search for bugs in the pond, prairie or woodlands! Concessions are available at Red Oak Nature Center where you can grab everything from a Bug Fest t-shirt and bug related treats or play it safe with a slice of pizza and a drink. Complete all the stations and pick up your Bug Fest prize at the nature center as well before boarding the shuttle back to Schneider Elementary.

FEATURES: Join us for the 52nd Annual Festival of the Arts in Glen Ellyn. This is a juried fine arts show held in the Chicago western suburb of Glen Ellyn. All booth spaces are along a concrete walkway that winds through century old oak trees surrounding picturesque Lake Ellyn.
Wine and Art walk

FEATURES: The Morton Arboretum's sixth annual Wine & Art Walk will take place near our main Visitor's Center and booths will be placed around the paved 0.6 mile trail surrounding Meadow Lake and the adjacent area. A selection of approximately 50 artists will be chosen for this juried event, based on their submission of nature-themed artwork. Multiple wine, beverage, and snack stations are located around Meadow Lake Trail, as well as music each day.
