MT. ST. MARY'S PARK in STC

River otters make homes in burrows near the water’s edge. Parks along the Fox River are great places for them to hunker down for the winter. Let’s help find them lots of different leaves that have fallen to build their cozy, warm beds for the upcoming cold winter.

Some of the best leaves are found from trees in Mt. St. Mary Park, located at Prairie Street, east of Route 31.

Using the Leaf Guide (linked in the attached picture+ button below):

• gather the number of leaves from the ground as listed below

• place them by the event display for the otters to pick up later; display will be installed Oct 19-Nov 14

• snap a selfie and post your picture on social media* using hashtag #stcparks
