DETAILS | Pack up the family for an evening out! Drive by several of the spookiest homes in the Fox Valley area, and admire the ghoulish yard displays of St. Charles’ finest home haunters. View displays from either your vehicle or the sidewalk. Homes are best viewed from dusk until 10pm beginning October 14 through Halloween night. Judging Night is Oct. 15. Free guides will be posted in link below on October 14th, 9am.

DETAILS | This individual family loves Halloween and decorates their house on the corner lot generously for spectators to enjoy. Park the car and get out to view this one!
midnight on morton
DATE | October 14 - October 31, 2022 | 7pm - 9pm
LOCATION | 714 Morton Street, Batavia
DETAILS | This interactive yard haunt features custom made props and spooky Halloween decor! On specified nights (click link below), you can expect to see live actors! This display is wheelchair-friendly! Because this is a FREE walk-through for the community, the family is collecting donations for Animal House Shelter in Huntley, found at the "Coffin For A Cause" in the family's yard.
Fox River Bike Trail Home
DATE | October 1 - November 5, 2022 dawn - dusk (Fox River Bike Trail closes at dusk)
LOCATION | BACK OF THE HOUSE ALONG FOX RIVER BIKE TRAIL, South of Fabyan on Rt. 31
DETAILS | People can park at the Fabyan Villa parking lot and walk south, under Fabyan bridge. This year's theme is "Pirates of Batavia II: Dead Men do Tell Tales". There is no movement, so it isn't scary for the littles! Thanks to Toni & Bill G. for this amazing display!
Halloween Decorating Contest
DATE | Judging on October 19, 2022 | 6pm - 9pm
LOCATION | Various locations throughout Batavia (click the EXPLORE MORE button below for map after October 22)
DETAILS | Show us your frightfully good home decorating skills in our popular Halloween House Decorating contest! Spots are limited, so be sure to register early! All home displays will be judged on Wednesday, October 19, after sunset and between 6-9 pm. We will award prizes for best overall theme and People's Choice. Winners will receive a Batavia Park District prize package. Every household entered will be responsible for sending 3-5 photos of your display to be used for the People's Choice award category. Email your photos (and include your home's address) by 5 p.m. on October 14 to Debbie Gentry at firstname.lastname@example.org. No late entries will be accepted.

DETAILS | This setup consists of an outdoor maze with video screens, music, animatronics, fog machines, strobes, motion sensors, and fire Marshall certified. Basically a Psycho Circus!
The Bone yard
DATE | October 1 - 31, all day long!
LOCATION | 1809 Gleaneagle Circle, South Elgin
DETAILS | There is no animation or spooky sounds and lights, but this is a really neat display of over 90+ skeletons that continues to grow each year! Get out of your car and take pictures as you'll want to check out all the skeletons!

LOCATION | 2760 Lehman Drive, West Chicago (but RIGHT on the border of STC and West Chicago)
DETAILS | Although the display is a really cool one to park the car and check out, you'll be able to walk through on Saturday, October 30th from 6pm-9pm and again on Halloween from 5pm-8pm! On these two days, SEVERAL animatronics will be out to add another level of SPOOKY to this display!

DETAILS | Halloween Town has been recognized by The Daily Herald , The Northwest Herald , and ABC 7 News as a must see home for the Halloween season. Scary sounds and lightning effects create a Halloween display that will keep you on your toes and always looking behind you.
