DESCRIPTION: Head outdoors and experience nature with a variety of programs for the entire family. The Batavia Park District partners with Red Oak Nature Center in Batavia to bring you opportunities to participate in nature programming, such as nature-themed story time, cave hikes, special earth-friendly events and more!

DESCRIPTION: Think grown-ups have to miss out on the fun of nature camp? We don't think so! Grab the kids and get ready to explore the great outdoors in this mini version of camp that will fit any family's schedule. Enjoy a hike, critter visits and camp themed activities all before lunch. Registration is for a group of up to eight individuals.

AGES:  All ages welcome!

DATES: Fridays, 10am - 12pm

COST: $60 Resident, $90 NR per day - Fee covers up to 8 participants

DESCRIPTION: Get outside for the fresh air, the joy of exploration and the need to move. Spend the afternoon on the trails as nature provides the entertainment. Enjoy themed hikes, games and crafts. Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be the same theme and activities. Closed-toe shoes required.

DESCRIPTION: A perfect camp for your little naturalist! Discover nature in the woods, fields and along the pond edge. Make simple crafts, play a variety of educational and fun games. Must be age 3 by January 1, 2021 and potty trained. No diapers. Camp designed for children who have attended preschool. Drop off at Wing St. Entrance at Delnor Woods.

AGES:  Ages 3 - 6

Primrose Farm

DESCRIPTION: Searching for a unique summer camp experience? This is it! Learn what it’s like to live on a farm. Start your day with chores, crafts, and games. Milk a cow, gather eggs from the chicken coop, and help farmers feed and clean up after the animals. Senior Ranchers will participate in both on-site and off-site activities, including visiting local parks, museums, and Otter Cove Aquatic Park.

AGES:  Ages 5 - 12

DATES: Junior Farmers (ages 5-7) meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm. Senior Ranchers (ages 8-12) meet Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm.

Elburn Forest Preserve

DESCRIPTION: Join us for one week or the whole summer! Led by their curiosity and wonder, campers will explore the Elburn Forest Preserve through activities such as field studies and nature journaling. No two weeks are the same!

AGES:  Ages 6 - 14

DATES: June 15 - August 5 | Tuesdays - Thursdays (Ages 6 - 9 yrs 9 - 11am; Ages 10 - 14 yrs 1 - 3pm)

COST: $150 per week
