We are proud to announce an evening at the movies! Bring the kids, blankets, and pillows and come enjoy an evening under the stars watching great family movies together outdoors!

LOCATION: Pottawatomie Park’s Amphitheatre, St. Charles, IL

Arrive early to get a good spot! Bring blankets to sit on as the amphitheatre is on a grassy slope and may not be suitable for lawn chairs. Concessions available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the STC Underground Teen Center. Movie start times vary according to dusk and will end by 10pm. No rain dates. Check link for moving showings. All Ages Welcome

Join the Naperville Park District outdoors for a fun and free Friday night kick-off to the weekend featuring a family-friendly movie at A Night at the Movies! Bring your own folding chairs or a blanket. Please be aware of the varying start times of each movie.

LOCATION: Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N Broadway, Aurora, IL

Movies are shown outdoors in the rear parking lot at Aurora Regional Fire Museum. Movies will start at approx. 8 p.m. Bring your own chairs. No seating will be provided. Food and refreshments will be available for sale. Socially-distanced seating areas will be available starting at 7 p.m. and are first come, first served.

THe Mchenry outdoor Theater

Limit of 350 cars due to COVID-19 restrictions.  Governor restrictions for public safety still apply.

THINGS TO NOTE:

  • "Arrive early to ensure a parking spot.

  • Our maximum capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic will only be 400 vehicles as opposed to the regular 750 vehicles.

  • Our Box Office opens no later than 6:30 PM during business days. However, once the lines at the entrance reach the road, we must open earlier in an effort to eliminate traffic congestion.

  • You may lay in the bed of your truck or in the back of a van. You may also sit in front of your vehicle. However, if you must get up and move 6’ beyond your vehicle, you must wear a face mask. Bathrooms and concessions are open."

COST: Adults, $12 | Senior citizens, $6 | Children, $6 (Ages 3 and under, FREE)
