The Swissôtel Chicago for the Holidays

DISCLAIMER: This post is part of an agreement between Stay +.Play Local and Swissôtel Chicago. I received the described Elf Decorated Room below for free as a 'thank you' for my participation. However, the free room did not force a positive review. This post reflects my personal opinion about the information provided by Swissôtel Chicago. We did share additional information about other packages to help our audience make a better, more complete decision.

We took the girls to see Frozen on Broadway Downtown Chicago the day before Thanksgiving and we worked with the Swissôtel Chicago team to get a hotel room at the last minute as a surprise for the girls.

You guys know that if a business doesn't meet our expectations of excellence in customer service and products/service, we don't talk about it (we listened to our grandmothers who always said, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all").

GUYS… we were BLOWN. A.WAY. by every damn aspect of this hotel! From the attentiveness of the staff to the cleanliness of the common spaces and grandiose lobby, to the luxury penthouse fitness center and our DECORATED CHRISTMAS ROOMS, the attention to detail and quality of service we received was stellar!!!

The girls said they’ve never been to a nicer hotel, and I had to agree! Even when my husband and I went to luxury resorts in the Caribbean and spent an ungodly amount on our rooms, it didn’t hold a candle to our room at Swissôtel Chicago!

The LOCATION was IDEAL as it is just two blocks away from the following: Water Tower Place, shopping on Michigan Avenue and State Street, and Millenium Park, and it’s situated RIGHT on the Chicago River with clear views of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier! If it weren’t so cloudy Thursday morning, we would’ve caught a beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan.

One of the coolest features that Swissôtel Chicago has during the holidays that I've NEVER heard of before is the Santa Suite. Presidential Suite is transformed into Santa’s home-away-from-the-Pole for the holiday season welcoming Chicagoans and visitors alike. Not only that, but the Swissôtel Chicago offers more private, intimate interactions with Santa! Here are some of their packages:

Packages aside, the regular room rates for this hotel are SO reasonable! We shared some of this information to our social media accounts and we had two people comment saying that they already booked rooms for this holiday season because they were so surprised by the rates for a luxury hotel in the heart of Downtown Chicago!

Swissôtel Chicago knows how to do it right for the holidays! And I can PROMISE you, we’ll be back again. I’m pretty sure we just found our new favorite #ChicagoHotel 🖤
