DETAILS: Buddy Break is a free outreach ministry for parents/caregivers who need a break from the ongoing responsibilities of caregiving for a child with special needs. All children, ages 6 months to 18 years, have the opportunity to have fun, make new friends and hear God’s Word with trained volunteers. Buddy Break exists to share the love and acceptance of Christ with all children and parents.

DETAILS: Little Friends’ newly added Respite Program offers caregivers time for rest and relief from challenges associated with raising a child with special needs. Our program offers multi-week sessions for children with special needs and their siblings featuring indoor and outdoor activities and socialization opportunities. Each session is hosted by a lead instructor, paid staff members, Certified Nursing Assistant and community volunteers. All participants are guided to engage in structured activities, art projects, gross and fine motor play while encouraged to socialize. One to one aides are available as needed. DETAILS: The campers are children and adults with disabilities. Most are the children of members of the Parent’s Association, but some are referrals from various organizations. The minimum age for attendance is five years old. There is no maximum age for campers.

DETAILS: Respite Care Resources is a secured professional website devoted to connecting experienced special needs focused caregivers with families in need. All of our caregivers have professional experience and training in working with individuals with special needs. ALL of our caregivers undergo an interview process as well as a criminal background and reference checks to assure the safety of your loved ones.
