DESCRIPTION: Leadership, Experience and Development is what this unique opportunity is all about! Designed for kids looking for some first-job and team building experiences. A positive, cooperative attitude is required for this unique opportunity. Program participation is based on an application and interview process. Applications will be available on April 19 at PCC and online at Applications are due by May 10. Interviews will be conducted in May. Session fee includes a t-shirt, pool admissions, any possible field trips, and supply kit for your session. Participants will travel on a Park District bus following COVID-19 guidelines.

They will have time for lunch and unstructured outdoor play. There will be a fun variety of games to participate in each afternoon. Campers will also get to watch movies, and work on theme-related challenges! Single day registration also available.

DESCRIPTION: Over the course of one week (or three!), Tinkering Camp provides an immersive opportunity to build with real tools to solve real problems. Budding engineers will find joy in the challenges, knowledge in the failures, and the confidence and ability to keep trying. Tinkering promotes creative problem solving, flexible thinking, a failure-positive mindset, and to top it off... it is incredibly fun! Working with other like-minded children and adult collaborators, Campers will have a chance to bring their imaginations to life. Camp will be held mainly outdoors.
