Concerts in the Park
LOCATION: River Park, 151 N. River Ln., Geneva
DESCRIPTION: The Geneva Park District is offering its annual Concerts in the Park series this summer at River Park along the scenic Fox River, weather permitting. The free event will be held on Wednesdays in July, and all ages are invited to attend. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to River Park for an evening of live entertainment. Concerts will begin at 7:00 pm. Food and concessions will be available for purchase. Beverages from Penrose Brewery and Sunset Soda Co. will also be sold. River Park is located at 151 N. River Lane on the west side of the Fox River, just north of Route 38, and is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available on the street and in nearby city parking lots.

DESCRIPTION:
Concerts in Your Park is a Sunday evening summer music series for families and neighbors; each concert is held at a different neighborhood park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a FREE evening of outdoor musical entertainment from 7:00-8:30 pm. Join your friends and neighbors for the musical event coming to your area.

Concerts at PrairieFest
LOCATION: Prairie Point Park, 4120 Plainfield Road, Oswego
DESCRIPTION:
PrairieFest, Kendall Country’s largest festival is back June 13-16, 2024. Presented by the Oswegoland Park District, the fest kicks off summer with a community celebration over Father’s Day weekend.
Thursday, June 13 with the the impressive vocal choirs of local high schools and highlights more local musicians with the PrairieWinds Community Concert, a PrairieFest tradition for musicians in our area. These terrific performances will serve as a great lead in to the Thursday night band, The Ron Burgundys. This Chicagoland Yacht Rock favorite won’t stop until the entire PrairieFest Park crowd is singing along to Africa by Toto.
Friday, June 14 local band Ethan Bell and the Cowboy Co Country Music Show will open. At 9pm, the PrairieFest Main Stage will host Country Music star Deana Carter. The 5 time platinum album artist will thrill the crowd with her number one hit and 1997 Grammy Single of the Year “Strawberry Wine”, and other hits like, “And We Danced Anyway”, “How Do I Get There”, and “Count Me In”.
For Saturday, June 15, Oswego’s favorite Jeff and Kurt’s Acoustic Refreshment will open the day. Next, Chicago’s Best Pop Punk cover band, There Goes The Neighborhood pumps up the crowd with hits from Blink-182, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Sum 41. Headlining Saturday night will be one of Billboard’s 100 Greatest Alternative Artists of All Time and “100 Greatest Alternative Songs of All Time”. The Artists behind “Good”, “Desperately Wanting”, and “King of New Orleans”, Better Than Ezra will take the PrairieFest Main Stage Saturday, June 15 at 9pm.
June 16, Father’s Day continues the fun. The day will begin with the PrairieFest 5K and Prairie Dog Jog. The PrairieFest parade steps off at 1pm and will entertain thousands along Oswego’s Main Street. The last band of the weekend will not disappoint with American English, the seminal Beatles tribute band playing the park on Father’s Day, June 16 at 4pm.

DESCRIPTION:
Get ready for a summertime tradition that features cold drinks, great food, and fabulous music! Naper Nights celebrate historic milestones in rock music and pop culture with themed tribute concerts throughout the summer. Rock out with your community as you eat, drink, dance, and hear the best tribute bands perform your favorite Rock, Pop, Motown, and Soul hits. These Naperville concerts are not to be missed!
All beer, wine, and organic tequila seltzer purchases require a beverage ticket. Beverage tickets are $7 each and are cash only. An ATM is available near the Naper Settlement bandstand.

LOCATION: Naperville Riverwalk's Grand Pavilion or 95th Street Community Plaza
DESCRIPTION:
Pack a lunch, bring sunglasses and an umbrella, then join the fun on Tuesday mornings where you will be treated to a variety of exciting performances. You may even become a part of the act. Performances are geared to the young and young at heart.
